Ever fancied slowly sailing around a peaceful stretch of river, enjoying the summer sun, or speeding through the waves off the south coast, or learning to sail, so when next in the Mediterannean you can take out a small sailing boat. Ariel Sailing Club is part of the BBC Club and an official Royal Yachting Association training establishment, offering Dinghy and Powerboat courses, with coastal endorsements, cheaper than anywhere else in the London area. The club has regular sailing sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays, organises racing and goes sea-sailing at Calshot. Our Boat fleet includes:
The Open day starts at about midday and goes on until 4pm. There will be a Barbecue lunch and you will have the opportunity of a trial sail with competent helmsmen (£5 deductable from membership). Please bring along a towel, a change of clothes and some old trainers. Safety equipment is provided! |
